Cemetery threatened by highway plan

No one argues that Route 322 through Mullica Hill, NJ, is a problem in need of a remedy, but the plans to create a bypass are opposed by a church whose cemetery could be disturbed by the highway.

Cemetery deal reached in Bucks Co., Pa

Awhile ago, when we used to blog regularly -- and we will get back to that -- we had information about a planned veterans cemetery in Bucks County, Pa., that was running into roadblocks with a local developer. The developer wanted a deal to build more homes on another of its properties in exchange for letting this land go at a lower price. That developer has accepted a higher price, in exchange for dropping its roadblocks. The feds are now going to buy the land.
